Where will the study take place?
University of Leeds, Britain.
What can I study?
A four-year Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Energy & Environmental Engineering or Earth Sciences..
Who can apply for Total’s undergraduate scholarships?
• Any Yemeni student who is between 17 and 22 years old.
• Any Yemeni student who is a holder of a secondary school transcript from Yemen with an overall average of 85%.
• Any Yemeni student who will commit to complete a four-year program in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Energy & Environmental Engineering or Earth Sciences.
• Any Yemeni student who is committed to return to their home country (Yemen) at the end of the program.
What do scholarships cover?
• Travel expenses.
• Social security coverage.
• Living expenses while in the UK (food and accommodation).
• Study expenses (enrolment, tuition fees, books).

How are applicants evaluated?
• High academic record in secondary school.
• High achievement in TOTAL-developed exam.
• High performance in TOTAL-conducted interviews.
• Good English language skills.

What if I am a winner?
• The final list of successful candidates will be notified directly by Total E&P Yemen.
• Successful candidates must undergo a full medical examination. Candidates who do not meet the health requirements will not be able to participate in the Scholarship Programme.
• The successful candidates will be required to take the TOEFL exam to asses their English proficiency. If needed, students will be required to take intensive English language courses.

What can I study?
1. Master’s of Law (LL.M.), University of Cergy-Pontoise Bienvenue sur Site Internet de l’université de Cergy-Pontoise
Applicant Profile
• High level of motivation.
• Strong English skills (PBT-TOEFL 550, IELTS 6.5)
• Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Law with good academic standing.
• Applicants can apply to Business and Taxation Law, Law and Business Ethics, or French and European Union Law.

2. Master’s of Subterranean Reservoirs of Energy: Hydrodynamics, Geology, Modeling (SRE-HGM) accueil_ensem

Applicant Profile
• High level of motivation.
• Strong English skills (PBT-TOEFL 537)
• Applicants must possess any of the following disciplines: physics, mechanics, applied mathematics, computer sciences or numerical modelling, geophysics, reservoir engineering, or petroleum geosciences.

• Yemeni citizens residing in Yemen.
• Applicants with a maximum age of 35 years old.
• Applicants with strong English-language skills; refer to programs’ details.
• Commitment to return to Yemen at the end of the program.

• Proficiency in English language through the TOEFL/ IELTS exam.

• Quality of motivation letter to the University. Letter must be written in English by the candidate. Official translation of the letter is not accepted.
• Reference letters, written in English. Official translation is accepted.
Are the programmes in France in French or English?

أعلنت تعلن شركة توتال للاستكشاف والإنتاج في اليمن عن تدشين جولة جديدة لبرنامج منحها الدراسية في البكالوريوس والماجاستير.
ودعت الشركة في بلاغ صحفي, تلقى مأرب برس نسخة منه, خريجي الثانوية العامة من اليمنيين بتقديم طلباتهم للحصول على خمس منح دراسية في البكالوريوس من بريطانيا في تخصصات الهندسة البترولية, الهندسة الكيميائية, هندسة الطاقة والبيئة, وعلوم الأرض.
كما دعت الشركة حملة البكالوريوس من اليمنيين بتقديم طلباتهم للحصول على خمس منح دراسية في الماجستير من فرنسا في التخصصات التالية:
ماجستير في القانون
ماجستير في طاقة المكامن الجوفية: الهيدروديناميكا والجيولوجيا والنمذجة
ماجستير في إدارة الأعمال
ماجستير في الشئون العامة
وقال البلاغ إن الشركة ستستقبل طلبات الحصول على هذه المنح بدءا من اليوم السبت الموافق 24 أكتوبر وحتى 12 ديسمبر 2009م.
وصرح السيد مارتن ديفونتين، مدير عام شركة توتال في اليمن، إن الشركة ستقوم بإرسال عشرة طلاب يمنيين للدراسة في الخارج؛ وذلك لاقتناء معارف في مجالات مختلفة تشمل تخصصات فنية تتطلبها الصناعة النفطية في اليمن وتخصصات قانونية وتخصصات في الإدارة العامة.
وأضاف ديفونتين "لقد قمنا في الشركة باختيار هذه التخصصات للإسهام في تطوير خبراء يمنيين قادرين على المشاركة الفاعلة في بناء وطنهم".
